2020 has been a wild ride full of surprises for all of us. Here at the Gallatin Underground, we’ve been hunkering down and working on how to continue creating content in a safe manner. We’re excited to announce a handful of changes we’ve made throughout the year!

First, we’ve rented out a studio space where we can resume doing interviews in house. Instead of going from practice space to practice space, we now have a home base of our own. This helps us have more control of who comes and goes, provides us with enough space to stay safe, and also helps us limit the exposure potential between interviews. We’re stoked to have the space to begin making content again!

We’re also changing our format. With the new space we’ve also added a video portion to The GU Show. From here on out, our interviews will be accompanied by videos to capture all of your beautiful faces in the scene. We’re currently booking the next round of interviews, so hit us up through the submission form on our site!

And if you’re not a musician don’t worry! We’re expanding the Hidden Gems section to include visual artists, comedians, poets, writers, and anything else you can think of. The underground expands beyond music and we want to encompass all of it!  So even if you’re not a musician you can still use the submission form to book an interview with us!

The website has received a bit of a makeover as well! We now have a GU shop up online. All the proceeds go to cover our costs and keep this free for you all! If you want to sell any of your art or merch reach out to us.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us get to this point. Special thanks to everyone who has helped us develop through this tying year, but most importantly thank you to all of the bands, musicians, audio and visual engineers (Especially Pat Lokken #Lokken Productions #InTheMusicBox), friends and family for your continuous support. Hopefully revisiting some old episodes have helped bring back memories of your favorite bands! We’re excited to have new content around the corner and can’t wait to share it with you all! So stay tuned to the Gallatin Underground, and we’ll all be moshing together again soon.
