You’ve heard his soothing voice transmitted from the radio over at KGVM community radio.
In this episode, Tommy and I had the opportunity to sit down with Bob Wall and learn a bit more about the man behind the mask. In this episode of Hidden Gems we talk about Bob’s early foray into recording and sound, how that progressed through Bozeman eventually leading him to KGVM, and his current involvement in the music scene locally. With live music still on pause for the foreseeable future, the importance of recorded live shows and local radio has been emphasized.
Being the audio nerds and archivists that we are, it was a pleasure to hang out with Bob and talk shop about the joys of recording and documenting the scene. Whether it’s live shows, live streams, or radio, at the end of the day we absolutely love the scene and want to share it with you. We want to make sure you can see it or hear it again and again, over and over.
Don’t miss this episode of Hidden Gems, and go donate to KGVM’s next pledge drive.
Stay tuned to The Gallatin Underground for the diamonds in the rough, here in the Hidden Gems!
